Seagate will be delivering it’s newest  Momentus hard drives with 256MB of flash memory. This new feature will improve the overall speed of the disks by caching the most frequently used data on it, so that it will serve it faster for processing. Storing the boot information there will improve Windows Vista’s startup by 20%  and reduce the power consumption of the drive by up to 40%. That’s something the everyone will want to have and this will become more and more of a standard with the development of  NAND flash and the improvement of device drivers.
