Taiwan’s Science and Technology Advisory Group revealed  it’s newest creation : an UMPC device based on Linux that has a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen and WiMax. It’s name is MTube and is powered by a 1Ghz VIA CPU. Fitted inside the small 8.5 x 8.5 x 2cm body is a 8Gb Hard Drive. Unfortunately they could not squeeze a bigger battery and the one that it has will only last about 4 hours. The good news is that this gadget will become available in 2009 so there is still hope for some improvements in that area.
